This is basically a short trick for viewing source of any websites RSS feed Firefox likes to assume when you click on a link to an RSS feed that you want to subscribe to it in some fashion. That might be true most of the time, but sometimes you just want to see the source of the RSS.
To view the source of an RSS feed, just append "view-source:" in the address bar before the feed address, like this:
